🏫 ABOUT INSTITUTION

National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) is located about 22 kilometers north-east of Calicut City. National Institute of Technology Calicut is a Technical Institution of national importance set up by an Act of parliament(Act 29 of 2007) namely, the National Institute of technology Act 2007, which received the assent of the President of India on 5th June,2007. The provision of the Act have come into force with effect from 15th August,2007 as per Notification S.O.1384(E) dated 9th August, 2007 of the MHRD(Dept. of Higher Education),New Delhi. As per the provision of the said Act, this Institution runs on non profitable basis.

The Institute proposes to prepare a panel of qualified persons for engaging them on purely Ad-hoc basis in the School of Management Studies for handling the academic teaching load. This engagement will be purely on temporary basis and will carry a consolidated pay as detailed below. Candidates with the specified qualifications can report for the Walk-in Interview at their own expense in the School of Management Studies of National Institute of Technology Calicut as per the schedule given below along with all certificates and portfolios in original and copy. Degree from recognized Universities/Institutions will only be accepted. No TA/DA will be paid. Due consideration will be given to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD candidates as per Govt. of India rules. (Candidates should bring the valid Caste/PwD certificate from the competent authority at the time of Interview).

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

• Ad-hoc Faculty (Management) Ph.D. in Management or Equivalent (Human Resource Area only) First Class both at UG and PG Level (60% or 6.5/10 CGPA).* Those who have submitted PhD thesis can also apply.
• Ad-hoc Faculty (French) C2 DALF (diplomeapprofondi de langue francaise) with post-graduation in any stream/ a post-graduate (MA) in French

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

• Rs. 50,000/- OR Rs. 40,000/-
• Remuneration
  • Rs. 50,000 per month for Ph.D (consolidated).
  • Rs. 40,000 per month for M.Tech./M.A/MBA/PG degree (consolidated).
  • For candidates who have submitted Ph.D. thesis, the consolidated monthly salary is Rs.40,000/-
  • The remuneration will not be enhanced for any reason during the term of engagement.
