During the last 55 years Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University has made astonishing strides in the field of education, particularly, higher and professional education. Today Bharati Vidyapeeth conducts more than 156 educational units of various kinds’ right from pre-primary schools to postgraduate institutions and a full fledged professional university (BVDU). Today, Bharati Vidyapeeth has its major campuses in New Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Solapur, Kolhapur, Sangli, Karad, Satara, and Panchgani and at quite a few other places. Bharati Vidyapeeth is probably the only organization from Maharashtra having its campus in the capital city of India. It is not in the urban areas alone that Bharati Vidyapeeth has started its institutions. Its schools and colleges have dotted rural areas and even the remotest tribal and coastal areas of Maharashtra. Bharati Vidyapeeth runs more than 78 schools and 60 institutions of higher education, including those of professional education. Dr. Patangrao Kadam subsequently expanded the scope of his activities and started many other institutions as its sister concerns. They include cooperative units of various kinds, several trusts, quite a few service institutions and even an orphanage.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Assistant Professor (Wildlife Science) (01 Post)
Essential Qualification:
i. B.Sc. in Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Forestry, Environment Science with atleast a First Class from a UGC recognised University
ii. M.Sc. in Wildlife Science, Wildlife Biology, Environment Science (with a wildlife focus
in the thesis), Forestry from a UGC recognised University with atleast a First Class
iii. An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in Wildlife Sciences from an UGC recognised University.
iv. Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of publications in peer reviewed journals.
v. A minimum of five years of teaching experience and/or research experience at the University/National level institution and / or relevant government / practitioner experience with evidence of supervising research students.
Desirable qualifications:
i. Knowledge of field and techniques, modelling software, GIS and remote sensing
ii. Administrative experience
iii. Demonstrated acquisition of research funding/ consultancies
Assistant Professor (Geoinformatics) (01 Post)
Essential Qualification:
i. B.Sc. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Environment Science, Computer Engineering, Geography with atleast a First Class from a UGC recognised University
ii. M.Sc. in Geoinformatics from a UGC recognised University with atleast a First Class
iii. An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in Geoinformatics from an UGC recognised University
iv. Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of publications in peer reviewed journals.
v. A minimum of five years of teaching experience and/or research experience at the University/National level institution and / or relevant government / industry experience with evidence of supervising research students.
Desirable qualifications:
i. Knowledge of key GIS and remote sensing software and python and R programming
ii. Administrative experience
ii. Demonstrated acquisition of research funding/ consultancies
