The Government of Karnataka in the year 1997 formed Chamarajanagar district which was carved out of the larger Mysore district to attain development in the fields of Health, Education & Social justice. The district became southernmost district of the state bordering Tamilnadu and Kerala, The District is largely covered by forest area and habitat of largest population of forest-dwelling tribal, like the Soligas, Yeravas, JenuKurubas and Betta Kurubas. The district also has a high percentage of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled tribes making up a more than quarter of the district’s population who are mainly under below poverty line and deprived of essential health care facility.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts i.e., Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/ Casualty Medical Officer/ Lady Medical Officer. The candidates are required to attend the interview before the Selection Committee at the Director & Dean Office, CIMS College Campus, Yadapura Village, Kasaba Hobli, Chamarajanagar along with original document, 2 sets of documents duly attested by gazetted officer and 2 passport size photos. The Candidates are requested to report before the scrutinizing committee before 10.00 AM 27.01.2022 & 28.01.2022.
For the smooth conduct of interview, the candidates are required to submit the application along with necessary documents and a D.D for Rs.2000/- (Non-refundable) drawn in favor of “Director & Dean, Chamarajanagar Institute of Medical Sciences” payable at Chamarajanagar on or Before 21.01.2022, 5.00PM.
Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected. Note: Candidates should send application separately for each post with Demand draft. Should clearly mention “post and department” over the envelope
Interested candidates should attend the INTERVIEW on 27.01.2022 & 28.01.2022. Interview will commence from 10.30 A.M in The Director & Dean Office, Chamarajanagar Institute of Medical Sciences, Yadapura Village, Chamarajanagar. Candidates must bring all the relevant original documents along with two pass port size photos
