🏫 ABOUT INSTITUTION

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bilaspur (Himachal Pradesh), an Institute of National Importance was officially approved, under Phase-V of the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), by Union Cabinet on December 04, 2019. The Institute was approved to be established over a span of about 247 acre (99.96 hectre) land on National Highway – 205 (Shimla-Kangra / Shimla Ghumarwin road), in the village of Kothipura, District Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. AIIMS Bilaspur is set up with objectives of correcting regional imbalances in the availability of affordable/reliable tertiary healthcare services and also to augment facilities for quality medical education in the country. It intends to develop patterns of teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of medical education to all medical colleges and other allied institutions in India. The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of AIIMS, Bilaspur on October 03, 2017. Subsequently on January 21, 2019, Hon’ble Health Minister Shri J P Nadda and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Shri Jai Ram Thakur performed the Bhoomi Pujan.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

• Professor-Cum- Principal
  1) Masters Degree in Nursing with advanced specialization in Nursing.
  2) Must be registered Nurse and Midwife.
  3) 10 (Ten) years’ experience in Nursing field after registration as Nurse, out which 07 (Seven) years must have been spent in nursing education or administration after obtaining the prescribed post-graduate qualification.
• Associate Professor
  1) Master’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized Institution/University
  2) Registered Nurse and Midwife
  3) 08 (Eight) year’s experience with minimum 05 (five) years teaching experience in Nursing.
• Assistant Professor
  1) Master’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized Institution/University
  2) Registered Nurse and Midwife
  3) 05 (Five) year,s experience with minimum 02 (Two) years teaching experience in Nursing.
• Tutor
  1) B.Sc. Nursing/Post B. Sc. nursing Degree from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute/ University.
  2) Registered Nurse/ Midwife in Nursing Council.
  3) 03 (Three) year’s experience in a Teaching Institution.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

• Professor cum Principal Level-13 of the Pay Matrix Plus usual allowances
• Associate Professor Level-12 of the Pay Matrix Plus usual allowances
• Assistant Professor Level-11 of the Pay Matrix Plus usual allowances
• Tutor Rs.56,100/per month (Fixed)
