🏫 ABOUT INSTITUTION

Panjab University opened a Regional Centre for imparting quality technical education to kandi area hoshiarpur with the name of Swami Sarvanand Giri Panjab University Regional Centre in year 2006 with four branches of engineering. In 2007 Panjab university started two new courses in LAW as BALLB 5 year integrated course and 3 Years LLB course, and Master of computer applications (MCA).

Panjab University is located in Sector 14 and Sector 25 of Chandigarh, spreading across an area of almost 550 acres. The academic institutes on the campus and four Regional Centres are grouped under the Faculties of Arts, Science, Languages, Law, Education and Fine Arts, Business Management and Commerce, Engineering and Technology, Medical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Dairying, Animal Husbandry and Agriculture. Most of the departments have their own specialized libraries, and the working period runs for at least 180 days in a year. The University has been incorporated for the purpose, among others, of making provision for imparting education in Arts, Letters, Science and the learned professions and of furthering advancement of learning, the prosecution of original research, with power to appoint University Professors, Readers and Lecturers, to hold and manage educational endowments, to erect, equip and maintain University colleges, libraries, laboratories and museums, to making regulations relating to the residence and conduct of students and to do all such acts as tend to promote study and research”.

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following temporary posts in Research Project entitled “Community Environmental Empowerment Program (CEEP)”. The project deals with the involvement of communities to impart the knowledge & raise their awareness levels for better understanding & ensuring necessary measures against the increasing levels of air pollution through active learning & inspiring behaviour change strategies that have potential to reduce air and environmental pollution exposure. The project outcomes will support in Mobilizing Communities for Air & Environmental Pollution Reduction & Enhancing Sustainability for Better Health & Future Generation.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Graphics Designer (No. of Post: 1)
a) Qualification:
Essential: Graduation degree in Animation/Graphics design/ allied discipline
Desirable: Having working experience in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effect.
Candidate should provide at least 1 recommendation letter and work experience in same field.
Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred.
b) Salary: Rs. 31000/- per month (fixed)
c) Job Description:
A self-motivated, multi-skilled candidate is sought to join the project having good knowledge of Graphic Design Skills, brainstorming creative designing ideas, Good interpersonal skills,
Ability to Work in Strict Deadlines, Researching and preparing rough drafts.
Post is purely on contract basis and co-terminus with the term period of the project.

Graphics Animator (No. of Post: 1)
a) Qualification:
Essential: Graduation degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related.
Desirable: Having working experience in Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effect.
Candidate should provide at least 1 recommendation letter and 1 years of work experience in same field.
Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred.
b) Salary: Rs. 41000/- per month (fixed)
c) Job Description:
A self-motivated, multi-skilled candidate is sought to join the project having good knowledge of Graphic Design Skills, brainstorming creative designing ideas, Good interpersonal skills, Ability to Work in Strict Deadlines, Researching and preparing rough drafts.
Developing and designing layouts, concepts, graphics for company logos, product illustrations and websites, suggesting improvements after reviewing final layouts, ensuring that the deadlines are met and printouts are available in the highest quality.
Post is purely on contract basis and co-terminus with the term period of the project.

Research Assistant (No. of Posts: 1)
a) Qualification:
Essential: ME/M.Tech/M.Sc in Environment Engineering/ Environment Science/Atmospheric Sciences/ allied discipline from a recognized institution/ University
Desirable: Candidate should have at least one publication in relevant field.
Candidate should provide at least 1 recommendation letter and 1 years of work experience in relevant field.
b) Salary: Rs. 44000/- per month (fixed)
c) Job Description:
A self-motivated, multi-skilled candidate is sought to join the project having experience and research record in climate change and air pollution studies. The candidate should have ability to converse, make presentations, write academic papers, reports and
collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues and researchers.
The candidate is expected to assist with the organization of workshops, meetings, outreach activities, and general management of the project as a whole.
The candidates should have an experience in handing the large datasets.
Post is purely on contract basis and co-terminus with the term period of the project.

Project Coordinator (No. of Post: 1)
a) Qualification:
Essential: Ph.D. with ME/M.Tech/M.Sc in Environment Engineering/ Environment Science/Public Health/Atmospheric Sciences/Environmental policy/ allied discipline from a recognized institution/ University
Desirable: Candidate should have at least two publications in relevant field and two year of research experience. Candidate should provide at least 1 recommendation letter
b) Salary: Rs. 80000/- per month (fixed)
c) Job Description:
A self-motivated, multi-skilled candidate is sought to join the project having experience and research record in environmental pollution, climate change and air pollution studies.
The candidate should have ability to converse, make presentations, write academic papers, reports and collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues and researchers.
The candidates should have an experience in handling the large datasets and have strong managerial skill to handle the research team and day to day project activities.
Post is purely on contract basis and co-terminus with the term period of the project.
