🏫 ABOUT INSTITUTION
National Homoeopathy Research Institute In Mental Health (NHRIMH), Kottayam, Kerala is the first Research institute in Homoeopathy under Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), Ministry of AYUSH; Govt. of India. This was established in the year 1974 as Regional Research institute, later upgraded to Central Research institute for Homeopathy in 1982 and upgraded as NHRIMH in November 2016. The main objective of the institute is to work for the development of Homoeopathic research and education. The erstwhile grant in aid Homoeopathic Research Centre started by Athurasramam Homoeopathic Medical College, Sachivothamapuram P.O. Kottayam, with the initiative of the patron at the college His Holiness Swamy Athuradasji was taken over by Govt. of India in the year 1974 and established as a Regional Research institute with 25 beds IPD facility in a space provided by the Kerala State Govt. This Regional Research institute in Homoeopathy was upgraded as the first Central Research institute with 50 beds IPD facility in 1974. Since the date of establishment, the institute provides high quality treatment in various clinical conditions and also concentrates on various clinical research trials especially in psychiatric conditions.
