National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal is located in Mangalore City, Karnataka State, India. The Institute was established as Karnataka Regional Engineering College (KREC) in 1960, and upgraded as National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) in 2002. Mangalore is the headquarters of the coastal district of Dakshina Kannada, and boasts an important centre of education, business and trade in the state. Sri. U. Srinivasa Mallya, a visionary and a philanthropist, contributed immensely to the development of the coastal region of Karnataka, and his effort towards establishment of KREC (now NITK) is the most significant one. In recognition of his role as the founder and architect of the institute, the campus premises is named after him as Srinivasnagar.

National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal is an Institute of National Importance, established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India imparts education in the field of Engineering, Science and Management at UG, PG and PH.D. levels. The Institute invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals for the Manager -Technical position purely on a contract basis for a period of 11 months, further extendable based on the satisfactory performance.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Essential Qualification:
B.E/ B. Tech with First Class in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics & Instrumentation / Metallurgical & Materials Engg., from recognized Institute. and
M.E./ M. Tech with First Class in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics & Instrumentation / Metallurgical & Materials Engg., from recognized Institute.
Desirable: Ph. D in any of the above branches
Experience
Minimum 03 (Three) years of Experience in Maintenance and scientific equipment’s from recognized Institute/organization/public sector company/ reputed private sector. (Proof of experience must produce). Knowledge of computer is must
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Salary commensurate with experience minimum of Rs.35,000/- per month
