SNDT Women’s University is the first Women’s university in India as well as in South-East Asia. The University was founded by Maharshi Dr. Dhondo Keshav Karve in 1916 for a noble cause of Women’s Education. The first five women graduated in 1921 from this University. The University Headquarters is in Churchgate Campus, Mumbai and the other two campuses of this University are at Juhu, Mumbai and Karve Road, Pune. SNDTWU is probably one such university where there is Nursery school as laboratory for Human Development Department, Centres for Women’s Studies, Inclusion and Exclusion, Distance Education, andhas affiliated institutions for doctoral programmes. Unlike most university’s in the country which have to have state jurisdiction, SNDTWU is unique in terms of jurisdiction. SNDTWU can affiliate colleges/institutions anywhere in India with prior consent from the State Government.

Applications are invited for filling up the following unaided teaching posts (Adhoc)/Contract basis to be filled in Church gate Campus for academic year 2022-23.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Academic Qualifications for Associate Professor
i. A Master‘s Degree in social work with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
ii. A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines;
iii. A minimum of
seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals;
iv. A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic /research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry; and
v. A total research score of 75 (Seventy Five)
Academic Qualifications Assistant Professor- MSW/ M.A.(Social Work) with NET/SET /Ph.D relevant subject and having teaching experience.
Academic Qualifications for Fieldwork Supervisors- – MSW/ M.A.(Social Work) with 2 years of field experience.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
- Associate Professor (unaided)- 1 post (Open category – Fixed Salary Rs.50,000 per month)
- Assistant Professor (unaided)- 1 post (open category- fixed salary Rs. 30000/- per month)
- Part-time Fieldwork Supervisors (unaided)- (2 posts- Open -1, SC-1 (Fixed salary Rs. 15000/- per month)
