Established in 1971 and named as University of Cochin, it was the symbol of commitment from the Government of Kerala towards the new scientific policy resolution adopted by the Central Government on 4th March 1958. The birth of the new University was with the specific purpose of “development of higher education with particular emphasis on post-graduate studies and research in applied science, technology, industry and commerce”. The University of Cochin was later reorganized as Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) in February 1986. Specializations are available in all Faculties/Departments for higher studies and research. By giving recognition to several well-established premier research institutions in the country and the Southern Naval Command of Indian Navy, the University has brought within its reach the resources available in these institutions also to the use of our academic community.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
The details of the required qualifications & experience along with other relevant information are available on the Institute Website
M.Com (Finance) / MBA (Finance) with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a pointscale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC (the essential qualifications shall be in compliance with the UGC Regulations 2018).
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
For Ph.D holder – Rs. 42,000/- For rest of the contract teachers – Rs. 40,000/-

Applications that are not submitted in the prescribed format or received after the last date prescribed will be summarily rejected. Claims made in the application without supporting documents will not be considered. Claims which are not mentioned in the original application submitted will not be considered at any later stage of application processing. Application fee is not refundable.
