On 15 August 2007, it was recognized as the Institute of National Importance through an Act of Parliament. The Institute is fully funded by the Ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantralaya), Government of India.

- Project Assistant (Technician)
🎯 TITLE OF THE PROJECT
Project Title: Development of Type Designs of Aanganwaadi and Houses using Structural Steel, as part of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Minimum Qualification: Three years Polytechnic Diploma in Civil Engineering/Candidates with ITI (Fitter/Welder) with minimum five years’ experience in field/laboratory operation may also apply.
Desirable: Proficient in handling heavy equipment and Crane operations and other similar machines in the heavy structures’ laboratory
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
As per rules Rs. 20000/- per month + HRA as per DST OM No. SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10.7.2020.
