इस महाविधालय को राजस्थान राज्य के सबसे प्राचीन एवं एकमात्र प्रतिष्ठित महाविद्यालय  के रूप में ख्याति प्राप्त है | महान योगी स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती जी की शिक्षा व मूल्यों के प्रचार-प्रसार के लिए सन‌‌ 1942 में स्थापित  इस महाविद्यालयमें विद्यार्थी  एवं समाज उपयोगी शिक्षा प्रदान की जा रही है | प्रति वर्ष लगभग 2500 विद्यार्थी  इस महाविद्यालय में शिक्षा ग्रहण करके महत्वपूर्ण पदों पर रहते हुए राष्ट्र की सेवा कर रहे हैं | महाविद्यालय का गौरव यहाँ का पुस्तकालय है जिसमे 1.5 लाख पुस्तको एवं पत्रिकाओं  का संग्रह है | महाविद्यालय में बाहर से आने वाले छात्र एवं छात्राओं के लिय पृथक-पृथक छात्रावास की व्यवस्था है | दयानन्द महाविद्यालय को यदि लाला सूरजभान ने लघु विश्वविधालय कहा तो इसमें कोई अतिशयोक्ति नहीं है क्योंकी यहाँ शिक्षा एवं ज्ञान का अथाह भण्डार एवं सुविधाएँ छात्रों को प्रदान की जाती है | सन‌‌ 2000 से डीएवी कॉलेज प्रबन्धकृत समिति नई दिल्ली के दिशानिर्देशन में दयानन्द महाविद्यालय , अजमेर शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में नित नये कीर्तिमान स्थापित कर रहा है |

Qualifications as per UGC/NCTE/Punjab Govt / G.N.D.U norms. Candidates must have passed Punjabi upto Metric Level.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

Pay-Scale: During probation, a fixed salary of Rs. 21600/- (Basic 15600+AGP 6000) will be given. After confirmation, Scale of 15600-39100 will be given. Dearness allowance and other allowances as per Management rules only.

Eligible candidates may send their application through Registered Post only along with the necessary documents as given in the CDC Portal and the GNDU Website to the President, DAV College Managing Committee, Chitra Gupta Road, (Paharaganj). New Delhi-55. A copy of the application form be also sent to the Dean, College Development Council, Guru Nanak Dev University. Amritsar. Incomplete application (without the required documents as given on the University Website) will not be entertained. Vacancies may increase or decrease due to an unforeseen exigency. The recommendations of the Selection Committee will not confirm an automatic right of the appointment. Candidates who have applied earlier need not apply.
