Mepco Schlenk Engineering College (MSEC) is one of the leading private engineering colleges under self-financing scheme situated about 60km from Madurai, the Temple city and is situated midway between Virudhunagar and Sivakasi by road. The college was established in the year 1984 by Mepco Schlenk Charities founded by the Metal Powder Company Ltd., Tirumangalam, Madurai District.
The College has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘A’ Grade. All the UG engineering programme and PG programme (ME-PED, ME-CS, ME-CSE and MCA) have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi, under Tier-I category.129 th Rank including IITs and NITs by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2022. Research Fellow Recruitment 2023 Job Official notification announced by Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu for the post of Junior Research Fellow. Eligible candidates may apply through OFFLINE.
The project entitled “Advanced combustion modes study towards Vehicle Hybridization” has been sanctioned with a total grant of Rs. 28.67 Lakhs.
Sponsored funded project sanctioned from the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Global Innovation & Technology Alliance (GITA), India, and the Ministry of Science & Technology (MOST), Taiwan
The project falls under the roof of an International Collaboration Project Call between the India-Taiwan Science & Technology Cooperation Programme. Lead Indian Principal Investigator Dr. Dhinesh Balasubramanian from Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi Tamil Nadu, India will be working with Scientists from National Cheng Kung University Tainan, Taiwan (ranked 224 in QS World University Rankings 2023) for the successful completion of the project.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Essential Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering Discipline. M.E/M.Tech in any allied branches of the Mechanical Engineering stream preferably Automobile Engineering, Internal Combustion Engines, Thermal Engineering, & Energy Engineering. (But not restricted to the above)
Desirable Qualifications: International publications/hands-on experience – Numerical & experimental analysis on performance, emission, combustion analysis, and waste heat recovery system in Internal Combustion Engines (ICE).
Project Duration: 36 months
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Stipend:
₹ 31,000 per month for 1st & 2nd year
₹ 35,000 per month for 3rd year plus 8% HRA on the above-mentioned basic pay
