The JSPM University Act was issued on January 6th, 2023, and the Department of Higher and Technical Education has issued a notification for the establishment of the University starting from January 16th, 2023. The Government of Maharashtra has appointed February 28th, 2023 as the date on which JSPM University, Pune will become operational. The University will commence operations from the academic year 2023-24 and will offer academic programs through the School of Science & Engineering, School of Commerce & Management, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, School of Liberal Arts, and School of Skills & Professional Development.
