🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Professor
A minimum of 10 years of post-PhD experience in teaching / research / industrial of which at least 04 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITRAM, IITs, IISc Bangalore, and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or Foreign Institution(s) of comparable standards.
Associate Professor
A minimum of 6 years of post-PhD experience in teaching / research / industrial of which at least 03 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor in IITRAM, IITs, IISc Bangalore, and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or Foreign Institution(s) of comparable standards.
Assistant Professor
At least 03 years post-PhD experience in teaching / research / industry in an organization of repute. Upon completion of 3 years of service as Assistant Professor at Academic Level 12, shall move to Academic Level 13A1 on assessment of performance by a committee constituted for the purpose.
Assistant Professor (contract)
Candidate with less than 03 years of post-PhD experience may be appointed on contractual basis. After obtaining 3 years of Post Ph.D. experience, their services can be regularized based on their performance.
At the entry level they may be placed in Academic Level 10 with basic pay of Rs.70,900/- or in Academic Level 11 with basic pay of Rs. 84,800/- depending on experience and shall move to Academic Level 12 with a minimum basic pay of Rs.1,01,500/- on completion of 03 years of requisite experience and on assessment
of performance by a committee constituted for the purpose.

- Professor Level-14A Pay Matrix: Rs. 159100-220200/-
- Associate Professor Level-13A2 Pay Matrix: Rs. 139600-211300/-

- Assistant Professor (contract) Level-10 Pay Matrix: Rs. 70900-98200/-
