Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology was established in the year 1987 as Regional Engineering College and was given the status of National Institute of Technology (Deemed University) by the Government of India on October 17, 2002 under the aegis of Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi. Now the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has declared the Institute as “Institute of National Importance” under the act of Parliament-2007. A large number of reputed Industrial houses in the country visit the Institution and select the final year students as Engineers/ Management Trainees. As one of the National Institutes of Technology (NIT), the Institute has the responsibility of providing high quality education in Engineering, Technology and Sciences to produce competent technical and scientific manpower for the country. The Institute offers BTech, MTech, MSc, MBA and PhD programmes in the several disciplines of Engineering, Technology and Sciences.

The candidates need to apply online and also submit a hard copy of the application. The hard copy of the online submitted application along with all prescribed supporting self-attested documents must reach the office of the REGISTRAR, Dr B R AMBEDKAR NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, POREC CAMPUS, JALANDHAR, PUNJAB. PIN-144008 BY FEBRUARY 12, 2024 (TILL 5.00 PM). The overseas candidates are exempted from submission of hard copy. However, they are required to send all the supporting documents in a single pdf file by email at dfw@nitj.ac.in on or before the last date of submission of hard copies.
This advertisement is a rolling advertisement. The prospective applicants can submit applications after the last date of this advertisement for next round of recruitment. Please note that submission of both online application & hard copy of the same is required. It may also be noted that no application fee will be charged for the candidates applying against rolling advertisement. The Institute portal shall remain open. However, both online and hard copies of the application have to be submitted. The hard copy must contain all the self- attested supporting documents. The date and time for conducting the interviews will be decided by the Institute and will be made available on the Institute website. All pages of the hardcopy of the application with supporting documents must be numbered and an index should be provided in the application (hardcopy) with the mention of the appropriate document with the page number.
Candidature will only be considered on receipt of both online as well as a hard copy of the application by the due dates, failing which it will be rejected.
