The Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) was established by an Act of Parliament called the “Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) Act, 2013” (No. 26 of 2013) having its headquarters at Fursatganj, Dist. Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. The University has been envisaged as the premier institution of higher learning within the aviation milieu aimed at providing cutting edge and critical research to enhance the aviation industry in India. The Act of Parliament empowers the university to award Diploma, Degrees, and Post Graduate Degrees and PhD degrees in the field of aviation and allied disciplines. At the same time collaborations and cooperation with the leading national and international universities/institutions in the aviation domain, are being forged towards proffering global knowledge that is customized to local requirements.

The University invites applications for “Visiting Professor” position from energetic meritorious qualified Indian Nationals, Persons of Indian Origins (PIOs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) and Foreign Nationals having passion for teaching and research possessing excellent academic background, commitment to top quality teaching and proven credentials for carrying out outstanding research and development for different courses of the University for its various academic programs in disciplines of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Humanities & Social Sciences, Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Sciences, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Management and other allied disciplines of Aviation. These roles encompass full-time faculty members engaged through a consolidated honorarium or salary arrangement. This includes individuals who have retired from other academic institutions and foreign nationals. Faculty members on deputation, leave, or sabbatical leave from other institutions may also hold these designations, with consolidated remuneration. RGNAU shall be able to provide the best possible support to the faculty members as per the regulations of the Institute.

- Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Humanities & Social Sciences/ Aerospace Engineering / Aviation Sciences / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Management and other allied disciplines of Aviation.
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Candidates should possess a doctorate in a relevant discipline from an Institute of National Importance and / or University with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree with throughout consistently good academic record.
Professor / Retired Professor from academic institutions of repute such as IITs, IISc Bangalore, IISERs and Central Universities or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or Foreign Institution(s) of comparable standards.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Rs. 2,10,000/- per month. No other allowances are admissible. The pension, if any, will be considered for retired Professors, ensuring the total emolument does not exceed the last pay drawn.
