🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree and a very good academic record. Relevant post-Ph.D. experience required as per the designation:
- Professor: 10+ years experience with 4 years as Associate Professor.
- Associate Professor: 6+ years experience with 3 years as Assistant Professor Grade I.
- Assistant Professor Grade I: 3 years post-Ph.D. experience.
- Assistant Professor Grade II: Less than 3 years post-Ph.D. experience (tenure-track).
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
As per 7th CPC Pay Levels:
- Professor: Pay Level 14A – ₹1,59,100 (Approx. ₹2.84 Lakhs/month)
- Associate Professor: Pay Level 13A2 – ₹1,39,600 (Approx. ₹2.49 Lakhs/month)
- Assistant Professor Grade I: Pay Level 12/13A1 – ₹1,01,500 – ₹1,31,400 (Approx. ₹1.83–₹2.18 Lakhs/month)
- Assistant Professor Grade II: Pay Level 10/11 – ₹70,900 – ₹84,800 (Approx. ₹1.29–₹1.53 Lakhs/month)
