Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal, established under an Act of Parliament, serves the entire North Eastern Hill Region with mandates of teaching, research and extension education in agriculture and allied sciences. The University operates through its Headquarters at Imphal, constituent colleges and Multi-Technology Testing/Vocational Training Centres across the region.
Applications are invited in the prescribed format for filling up various positions of Director/Dean/Chairmen/Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors at the CAU Headquarters/ constituent Colleges and Multi Technology Testing Centres/Vocational Training Centre of the Central Agricultural University, Imphal. The application form shall be filled online through the University websites www.cau.ac.in. The online form submission portal will be available from 10th November, 2025, and the last date for online submission is 6 th December, 2025. The duly completed application form, downloaded from the website after online submission, along with relevant documents and the prescribed fee of ₹.1,000/- (for UR/OBC candidates) and no fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates, must reach the office of the Registrar, Central Agricultural University, Imphal on or before 15th December, 2025 through Postal Mail. The application fee shall be paid through online mode only(payment guidelines are available on the website)

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Director / Dean: Doctorate degree, minimum 15 years teaching/research experience with required years in Professor cadre, and evidence of outstanding academic contribution.Professor / Chairman: Doctoral degree, minimum 10 years experience with required publications and academic contribution.Associate Professor: Doctoral degree with minimum 8 years relevant experience and research contributions.Assistant Professor: Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks and NET qualification or Ph.D. as per UGC/ICAR guidelines.

- Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A (₹1,31,400/-)
