The Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), Jais, an Institution of National Importance established by an Act of Parliament in 2007, invites applications from highly qualified, motivated, and research-oriented Indian citizens and Indian-origin professionals residing abroad for Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) positions. 🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Essential Qualification & Experience:
- Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in Science/Engineering.
- OR Master’s in Engineering with substantial international experience (for CSE/IT and allied areas).
- At least one degree (UG/PG/Ph.D.) from a Top 250 QS-ranked international university.
- Minimum 3 years post-doctoral experience in teaching/research/industry at reputed international institutions.
- Strong record of publications, patents, Ph.D. supervision is highly desirable.
Additional Conditions:
- Must not hold any permanent or contractual academic position in India.
- Must be currently working abroad at the time of application.
- Experience and age will be considered as on the last date of application.
- Age Limit: Below 37 years.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
Monthly Consolidated Salary: ₹1,50,000 – ₹2,00,000
- One-time Research Grant: ₹20.00 lakh
- CPDA (Professional Development Allowance): ₹3.00 lakh per 3-year block
