Applications are invited for contractual faculty positions on temporary basis in the departments of (i) Aerospace Engineering (ii) Civil Engineering (iii) Computer Science & Engineering (iv) Electrical Engineering (v) Electronics & Communication Engineering (vi) Mechanical Engineering (vii) Metallurgical & Materials Engineering (viii) Production & Industrial Engineering (ix) Physics (x) Mathematics (xi) Centre of Management & Humanities (CMH). This is a rolling advertisement for the Contractual positions of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor on purely temporary basis for a period of three years. The details of the positions are provided in Table-I. This rolling advertisement will be open throughout the year and the applications will be processed twice in a year at an interval of six months, (i.e. applications received upto 31 st October and 30 th April of every year).

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

1. Assistant Professor (Engineering, Design)

• Ph.D. in relevant field
• First Class at Bachelor’s and Master’s levels
• Shortlisting based on Academic Score (Table-III)

2. Assistant Professor (Sciences, Humanities, Arts)

• Ph.D. in relevant field
• First Class in Bachelor’s & Master’s degrees
• NET/SLET/SET qualification (with exemptions as per UGC)

3. Associate Professor

• Ph.D. in relevant field
• Minimum 8 years teaching/research experience
• At least 7 research publications (SCIE/SSCI/AHCI/ABDC)
• Minimum research score: 75 (Table-IV)

4. Professor

• Ph.D. in relevant field
• Minimum 10 years teaching/research experience
• Successful guidance of Ph.D. candidates
• Minimum 10 research publications (SCIE/SSCI/AHCI/ABDC)
• Minimum research score: 120 (Table-IV)

Additional Conditions (Page 3):

• Selection includes seminar/sample teaching & interview
• Maximum 15 candidates called per post
• Reservation as per Government norms

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

As per Table-V (Page 13):

• Professor: ₹1,44,200/- + DA
• Associate Professor: ₹1,31,400/- + DA
• Assistant Professor: ₹57,700/- + DA

• House Rent Allowance (HRA)
• Professional Development Allowance: up to ₹1 lakh per year
• Seed money: ₹10 lakhs for lab development
• Contingency grant: ₹2 lakhs for entire contract period
