🎯Project Details

  • Title of the project – “Rational Computational Engineering of Chiral Frustrated Lewis Pairs for High-Efficiency Asymmetric Imine Hydrogenation“
  •   Sponsored Agency – Anusandhan National Research Foundation(ANRF)
  •  Project sanction number – ANRF/ECRG/2025/002592/CS
  • Duration – Three (03) years (extension based on performance review every 12 months)
  •  Principal Investigator (P.I) – Dr. Shanti Gopal Patra, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology Silchar, Assam-788010. 

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Essential Qualification: MSc. in Chemistry or BS-MS in Chemistry.

Desirable Experience: Basic knowledge in physical/theoretical chemistry. Prior knowledge of DFT calculations is advantageous but not mandatory.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

Rs.37,000/- per month for the first two years (JRF); Rs.42,000/- per month for the third year (SRF). HRA @10% if Institute Accommodation is not provided.
