The minimum qualifications for the positions are as follows:

• Assistant Professor Grade II: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record. Maximum age: 32 years.
• Assistant Professor Grade I: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record and a minimum of three years of industrial/research/teaching experience. Maximum age: 35 years.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

The pay structure as per the 7th CPC is as follows:

• Assistant Professor Grade II: Pay Level 10, Min. Basic Pay: ₹70,900, Total Emoluments: ₹1,39,140
• Assistant Professor Grade I: Pay Level 12, Min. Basic Pay: ₹1,01,500, Total Emoluments: ₹1,94,220
