🎯Project Details

  • Title of the project -“ Vibroacoustic response reduction in a functionally graded smart composite panel incorporating acoustic black hole effect through material gradation: A synergized computational and experimental approach “
  •  Sponsored Agency – Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) under ARG Program 
  •  Project sanction number – ANRF/ARG/2025/004960/ENS
  • Duration Three (3) years or till closure of the project whichever is earlier. (Performance of the fellow will be evaluated every year) 
  •  Principal Investigator (P.I) – Dr. Atanu Sahu, CE Dept., NIT Silchar 
  •  Co- Principal Investigator – Dr. Vinyas Mahesh, ME Dept., NIT Silchar 

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Candidates must possess an M.E./M. Tech. degree in Structural / Structural Dynamics / Aerospace / Applied Mechanics / Mechanical Design Engineering or other relevant specializations with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA at both UG and PG levels. Final year students awaiting their final degree are also eligible to apply, provided they can produce the degree certificate at the time of the interview.

Desirable experience includes knowledge of Finite Element software, programming in MATLAB, and exposure to experimental structural dynamics. Preference will be given to candidates with GATE qualification.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE

The salary is Rs. 37,000/- per month for the first two years and Rs. 42,000/- per month for the third year.
