🎯Project Details

  • Title of the Research Project -” Genomics assisted improvement of scented rice from Assam (Joha) and Manipur for yield enhancement under stress and improved nutrition “
  • Name of the Funding Agency – DBT, Govt of India
  • Tenure of the Assignment – 03 Years/ 01 Year (extendable for another year based on performance) 

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Applicants must hold an M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Botany, or any branch of life sciences with a strong academic record from a recognized university/institute as per UGC norms. For the JRF position, candidates should have qualified GATE or other national level examinations conducted by central agencies like CSIR and DBT. The age limit is 28 years, with age relaxation of up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates and up to 3 years for OBC candidates.

Desirable qualifications include knowledge and experience in biochemistry, plant molecular biology, and plant tissue culture.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE

The compensation is as per norms, with Rs. 37,000 + 9% HRA for the JRF position and Rs. 20,000 + 9% HRA for the PA position.

The positions are based at the Central University of Rajasthan, Bandarsindri, Kishangarh, Ajmer, Rajasthan, India.
