• Tenure – The position is purely temporary for 02 years or Co terminus with the project, whichever is earlier

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Research Associate -1 (RA-1)

Ph.D. from recognized University Desirable: Candidates having a proven track record of using any FE softwares such as ANSYS, ABAQUS etc. using Electromagnetic Principle module shall be preferred.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Essential: B.E./ B. Tech/ M.Sc. in First Division with NET/GATE OR M.E./M. Tech in First Division both at Graduate and Post graduate level. A minimum 02 years of research / teaching. Industrial experience in the relevan fields is mandatory to the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF). Desirable: Candidates having a proven track record of using any FE softwares such as ANSYS, ABAQUS etc. using Electromagnetic Principle module shall be preferred.  

Note: (i)

(i) (*) ‘The crucial date’ for determining the upper age limit is 27th August 2026. Upper age-limit is relaxable up to 05 years for SC/ST, Women & PwBD and 03 years for OBC (NCL) candidates. (ii) In addition to the monthly stipend, medical facilities limited to MI Room facilities shall be extended. (iii) Mode of interview shall be “in-person” or “via video conferencing,” whichever is suitable to DIAT and shall be intimated to the shortlisted candidates. (iv) Recruited Fellows shall be encouraged to register for a Ph.D. at this institute through proper channels as per DIAT norms. (v) If a candidate for the project does not found suitable for RA/ SRF may be considered as JRF subjected fulfilment of JRF eligibility criteria.

• Research Associate (RA) – Rs. 75,400/- (Consolidated)
• Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – Rs. 37,000/- (Consolidated)
