- Duration: For Six (6) months only
- Nature of the position: Full-time engagement of the selected candidate during the tenure
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate in Geography/Urban Studies/Sociology or allied disciplines, preferably with specialisations in Urban Geography/Urban Planning/Urban Sociology or related domains.
Desired Expertise: Proficiency in geospatial mapping, particularly urban mapping techniques and tools, strong academic writing skills, and the ability to conduct ethnographic and empirical field research using semi-structured questionnaires. A clear understanding of local languages and city locations is also required.

INR 37,000 per month (Consolidated)

The Research Assistant will primarily be based in Kolkata for fieldwork and project-related writing, with occasional meetings at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus.
