• Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

🎯 PROJECT DETAILS

• Title of the Sponsored Project – “Redesigning Branch Prediction Units in High-Performance Processors for Enhanced Security”
• Nature of Work The JRF will work on the analysis, design and development of secure processor architectures and AI acceleration units. The work involves demonstrating micro – architectural attacks and countermeasures on open – source processors, conducting performance evaluation and publish the research. 
• Duration of the Position The post is purely on a contractual basis and initially for 01 year and may be extended for another 02 years.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Essential: B.E. / B.Tech. in CSE / IT / ECE or relevant streams with a valid GATE score (or) B.E. / B.Tech. in CSE / IT / ECE with at least 02 years of industry experience in VLSI design (or) M.E. / M.Tech. in CSE / IT / ECE, or relevant streams.

Desirable: Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++. Interest in Computer Architecture and VLSI Design. Working experience in Hardware Description Languages such as Verilog, Bluespec, etc., and tools such as Vivado and Quartus. Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning Algorithms. Good analytical, technical writing, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a research team.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

Stipend: ₹37,000 + 30% HRA. Note: 30% HRA will be paid if no accommodation is provided by the Institute.
