🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Essential Educational Qualifications- Master’s Degree (M.A.) in Psychology / Counselling Psychology / Clinical Psychology from a recognised university.
One or two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology (PGDCP) OR Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology (PDCP) from a recognised institution/university.
A valid RCI Licence is mandatory. Candidates must possess a valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) in the applicable professional category. Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the field of counselling / psychological services / clinical or mental-health-related services.
Desirable Skills:
• Experience in individual and group counselling.
• Experience in providing student counselling and psychological support services.
• Knowledge of psychological assessment and basic psychodiagnostics procedures.
• Ability to handle academic, personal, emotional, behavioural and career-related concerns of students.
• Experience in crisis intervention and psychological first aid.
• Good communication, interpersonal and rapport-building skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, professional ethics and appropriate counselling records.
• Familiarity with referral procedures for cases requiring specialised psychiatric or clinical intervention.
• Experience in working in a University / College / Educational Institution / Counselling Centre / Hospital / Mental Health Centre will be an added advantage.
