🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
For the Clinical Postdoctoral Fellow position, candidates must have an MBBS degree with a Post Graduate Degree (MD in Psychiatry or DNB in Psychiatry) or an MBBS with a PhD in Psychiatry. Fluency in Kannada and English is desirable.
For the Clinical Supervisor (Non-Medical) role, an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology or Psychiatric Social Work is required, along with fluency in Kannada and English.
Research Officers should have relevant work experience and fluency in Kannada and English.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
The salary for the Clinical Postdoctoral Fellow is Rs. 1,40,000/- per month (consolidated). Clinical Supervisors (Non-Medical) will receive Rs. 75,000/- per month, and Research Officers will be compensated Rs. 40,000/- per month.
💺 JOB LOCATION
The positions are based at NIMHANS, Bangalore, with work also conducted at community sites across Karnataka.
📝 HOW TO APPLY
Interested candidates should attend the Walk-in-cum-Written Test with their resume, original testimonials, and a set of self-attested photocopies. The test will be held on 08.09.2026 at 10:30 AM in the Board Room and Exam Hall on the 4th floor of the NBRC Building, NIMHANS, Bangalore. Candidates are advised to report 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the test/interview. Candidates currently working on projects at NIMHANS must present a No Objection Certificate from their Principal Investigator.
