  • Project Entitled: “Asian Bipolar Genetics Network (A-BIG-NET)”
  • Funded by:  ABIGNET
  • PI: Dr. Biju Viswanath, Professor of Psychiatry, NIMHANS, Bengaluru.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

For the position of Project Associate (Lab), candidates must possess a Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 2 years of research experience in molecular biology, genetics, genomics, neuroscience, or biomedical research. Hands-on experience in laboratory-based handling of biological samples and diagnostic testing is essential.

For Project Associate – II, candidates should have an M. Phil in Psychiatric Social Work or a Master in Social Work/M.Sc. in Neuropsychology with at least 1.5 years of clinical or research experience.

Project Associate (Lab): Rs. 42,000/- (consolidated) PM

Project Associate – II: Rs. 55,000/- (consolidated) PM

The test will be held on 16/09/2026 at 9:30 AM in the Board Room and Exam Hall on the 4th floor of NBRC Building, NIMHANS, Bangalore 560029. Candidates are required to report/join 30 minutes before the scheduled time for the interview/written test.
