🎯 Project Details

  • Title of project: “Meta-Material Based Matching Structures with Antennas at L & S Bands for Mitigating Radio-Frequency Blackout during Re-entry of Vehicle.“
  • Sponsored Agency: ISRO
  • Principal Investigator: Dr. Vinay Shankar Pandey, Associate Professor, Department of Applied Sciences, National Institute of Technology Delhi, New-Delhi, 110036 
  • Duration of Appointment & Fellowship: For a duration of one year or co-terminus with the project.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Essential Qualification: PG Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:

  • Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-(Assistant Professorship) or GATE
  • Selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

The candidate must have at least 60% marks (or a CGPA of 6.5 on a scale of 10). Desirable experience includes good knowledge of fundamentals in Plasma Physics, Microwave, Antenna Design & Development, expertise in Metamaterial antenna modelling and Simulation, and good programming skills in MATLAB/Python/HFSS/CST/ADS.

Interested and eligible candidates are invited to appear for a walk-in interview on 30 September 2026. Candidates must bring a duly filled application form, all original certificates/mark sheets with an attested photocopy of each, and a recent passport-sized photograph. No TA/DA shall be admissible for attending the interview.

The decision of the expert panel set up for interview will be considered final. • The appointment is for time bound project and the candidate is required to work dedicatedly for the successful completion of the project. Selected candidate has to join immediately. • All the Terms and Conditions for this recruitment will be as per guidelines of DOS/ ISRO norms.
