• Department: Aquaculture Division
• Project Tenure: July 2024-Ju1y 2027; (Extension Applied till July 2028)

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

l. Master’s degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries Science, Marine Biology, Marine Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline from a recognized university. 2. The candidate must Satisfy the applicable CSIR NET eligibility requirements for the Junior Research Fellow position, as specified in the project sanction and recruitment rules.

Desirable Qualification: Research experience in seaweed biotechnology, seaweed cultivation, aquaculture, extraction and characterization Of polysaccharides, biochemical analysis. Experience in antioxidant/antimicrobial assays, shrimp culture, gene expression and scientific data analysis will be an added advantage.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

07,000/- per month, as per applicable CSIRACAR guidelines and the terms and conditions of the project.
