i) M.Tech / M.Sc. / Ph.D degree (4 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in Food Process Engineering/ Food Technology/Food Process Technology/Food Safety & Quality Assurance/Processing and Food Engineering/ Agricultural Processing/ Food Science/ Food Science and Technology/ Food Science and Nutrition/ Food and Nutrition/ Chemical Engineering/ Biotechnology/ Food Technology and Management/ Food Process Engineering and Management/ Food Plant Operations and Management/ Food Safety and Quality Management / Food Supply Chain Management/ Post-Harvest Technology/Fish Process Engineering/Dairy Technology/Dairy Engineering (or)

ii) M.Sc. degree (3 years of UG + 2 years of PG) in the above disciplines with 2 years of experience with NET qualification (or) Ph.D. in the above disciplines.

• Senior Research Fellow – Rs. 42,000 + HRA as applicable
•  Food Analyst (for Central Instrumentation lab)-  Rs.60,000/ (Fixed) Consolidated Emolument

Tenure of Senior Research Fellow/ Food Analyst: Tenure will be initially for a period of six months and renewal of tenure will be done every six months based on the performance.  The applicant must ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility conditions in accordance with the prescribed qualification, experience etc., before applying for the specific post The candidates must apply only through online application form available in the Institute website www.niftem-t.ac.in. No offline application sent directly to the Institute will be entertained. After successful submission of online application, the candidates are instructed to sign the hardcopy of downloaded application. The signed application form, self-attested copies of supporting documents and copy of e-receipt generated in SBI collect are to be scanned as a single PDF file. The scanned PDF file has to be sent to the mail id: projectrecruitment@iifpt.edu.in within THREE days from the last date of online submission.

Selection process: Eligible shortlisted candidates will be called for written examination followed by interview.
