• Tenure of the post – One year (with possibility of extension based on performance)

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Qualifications & experience as prescribed by Norms.

The candidate must possess an M.Tech./ME/MS/BS-MS in Climate Science, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Physics, Water Resources, Environmental Science/Engineering, or an equivalent qualification. General and OBC candidates should have a minimum of 70.00% marks or equivalent CGPA in their PG examination, while SC/ST and differently-abled candidates require 65.00%. A minimum of two years of research experience after the Master’s degree is required. Desirable qualifications include proficiency in Atmospheric Modeling, Climate Downscaling, Climate Data Analysis, and experience in Fortran/R/Python coding and working with gridded meteorological datasets.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

The fellowship amount is ₹35,000 per month as per KSCSTE norms.
