🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Applicants must hold a PhD degree with first class or equivalent grade in the preceding engineering and science degrees in the respective discipline. They should have a consistent academic record and demonstrative evidence of excellent research output, such as research papers and/or patents. PhD degree holders in engineering and the sciences are eligible to apply within two years after completing their PhD. The age limit is preferably not exceeding 35 years for males, with a relaxation of 5 years for reserved category candidates and females.
PhD scholars who have submitted their thesis are also eligible to apply, provided they submit the provisional degree certificate within three months from the date of appointment.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
The fellowship amount is ₹80,000 per month, with a potential increase of up to 10% annually, subject to review. A contingency grant of ₹50,000 per annum is also provided for research purposes.
