🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
- Project Associate-I
Qualification: Candidates having M.Sc. Degree in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Plant Physiology/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Bioinformatics or equivalent with at least 60 % (or equivalent) marks and fulfilling the guidelines as mentioned in the DST Office Memorandum number SR/S9/Z- 05/2019 dated 10/07/2020 are eligible to apply. The upper age limit for the position is 35 years. Desirable: Basic understanding of genetics, molecular biology, plant development, and/or plant physiology is required. A Candidate with prior work experience in rice tissue culture and gene-editing will be preferred.
- Technical Assistant
Candidates having B.Sc. Degree or 3-year diploma in engineering & technology and fulfilling the guidelines as mentioned in the DST Office Memorandum number SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10/07/2020 are eligible to apply. The upper age limit for the position is 50 years. Desirable: Prior experience of working in a molecular biology/biotechnology lab. A Candidate with prior work experience in tissue culture will be preferred.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
- Project Associate-I – Emoluments ₹31,000/- + 27% HRA per month, as sanctioned in the project.
- Technical Assistant – Emoluments ₹20,000/- + 27% HRA per month, as sanctioned in the project.
