🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Qualifications & experience as prescribed by UGC norms. Candidates should have a strong academic record and relevant teaching experience.
- Assistant Professor
i) A Masters degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Associate Professor
i) A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned / allied / relevant disciplines. ii) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed). i) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and I or research in an academic I research position equivalent to that Of Assistant professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution I Industry with a minimum Of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC – listed Journals and a total research score Of Seventy five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2.

(i) An eminent scholar having a doctoral degree (ii) Have been actively engaged in research with at least ten years of experience in teaching in University/C011ege and / or research at the University/National level institutions (iii) Minimum of 6 research publications in the peer-reviewed or tJGC-listed journals, (iv) Has a total research score of 120, as per Appendix II, Table 2.

“Good academic record” shall mean “securing on an average, at least 55% marks in all examinations taken together prior to Master’s degree viz Secondary (class X), Higher Secondary (10 + 2) or equivalent and Honours degree stage. However, 55% marks at Master’s degree level are mandatory as per IJGC norms” Application fee (non-refundable) i) For Academic Level 14 2,000/- ii) For Academic Level 10:Rs. 1,600/-. Women candidates and Physically handicapped candidates (handicapped 40% or above) are exempted from paying fee. Attested copy Of certificate issued by appropriate authority is to be submitted for such concession / exemption. SC/ST candidate shall pay only 25% of the above application fee.
