- Tenure – The position is temporary for One year, with an extension for 12 months after the performance review.
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree in any area of Life Sciences or Agricultural Science. Those who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting the award of their Ph.D. degree may also apply. Candidates should provide evidence of having conducted high-quality research during or after their Ph.D. program. Desirable qualities include experience in rice/tomato functional genomics, field phenotyping, gene editing technologies, and Agrobacterium-mediated genetic transformation in rice/tomato.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
The fellowship is Rs. 58,000 per month plus HRA for candidates who produce the Ph.D. certificate. For those whose Ph.D. degree is awaited, the fellowship is Rs. 42,000 per month plus HRA, provided they produce a letter from a competent authority stating that the thesis has been submitted and the final viva/defense is pending.
