• Tenure – The position is temporary for One year, with an extension for six months after the performance review. 

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree in any area of Life Sciences or Chemical Sciences. Those who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting the award of their Ph.D. degree may also apply. Evidence of high-quality research conducted during or after the Ph.D. program is required. Desirable experience includes organic synthesis, LC-MS, and/or experience in growing Actinomycetes, gene manipulation for natural product discovery, and studies on their antibacterial/anticancer potential.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

The fellowship is Rs. 58,000/- per month plus 10% HRA for candidates with a Ph.D. certificate. For those awaiting their Ph.D. degree, the fellowship is Rs. 42,000/- per month plus 10% HRA, provided they submit a letter from a competent authority stating that the thesis has been submitted and the final viva/defense is pending.
