🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
- Professor – Aviation Science Courses – Doctor of Philosophy qualification(s) in the Aviation Science or a relevant discipline (*) and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research or policy papers. All specializations of Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Engineering and Technology, all relevant specializations of Computer Science & Engineering, Aviation Maintenance Management, Navigation, Aircraft Power Plants, Meteorology, Aircraft Systems, Pilot Theory, Dangerous Goods, Aviation Safety Management, Aviation Laws, Advance Flight Operational Procedure, Aircraft Specifics, Air Regulation, Aircraft Radio, Aircraft Instrument, Remotely Piloted Aircraft System, etc. These are indicative but not exhaustive.
Professor (Management or Business Administration Courses) – 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master’s Degree in Business Management or Administration or in a relevant discipline or 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in two-year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management declared equivalent by Association of Indian Universities or recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education or University Grant Commission; The specializations for recruitment of faculty in ‘Management or Business Administration Courses’ are : Economics, Accounting and Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Decision Sciences, and Information Technology Analysis and Management, etc. These are indicative but not exhaustive
Professor (Engineering and Technology Courses) – A Doctor of Philosophy degree along with Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from a recognized university in the following(*) branch of Engineering and Technology and Experience of ten years in teaching, research and or industry, out of which at least 5 years at the level of Assistant Professor or Reader or equivalent grade in Level- 10 (Rs. 57,700-1,82,400) in pay matrix. Branch of Engineering and Technology: Aerospace Engineering/Technology, Aeronautical Engineering/Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering, Avionics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Data Science (areas of specializations shall be based on the requirement of the respective programs namely B. Tech in Aerospace /Aeronautical Engineering, B. Associate Professor (Engineering and Technology Courses)– A Doctor of Philosophy degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from a recognized university in the following(*) branch of Engineering, and Technology and Experience of eight years in teaching, research and/or industry at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade in Level-10 (Rs. 57,700-1,82,400) in pay matrix excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree
Assistant Professor (Aviation Science Courses)– 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in Aviation Science or a relevant discipline (*) from a recognized Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university
Assistant Professor (Management or Business Administration Courses) – Master’s Degree in Business Management or Administration or in a relevant management related discipline or full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management declared equivalent by Association of Indian Universities or accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education or University Grant Commission
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
- Professor – Pay Matrix Level: Level 14 of Pay Matrix Rs.1,44,200-2,18,200/- and other allowances as admissible.
- Associate Professor – Pay Matrix Level: Level 13A of Pay Matrix Rs.1,31,400-2,17,100/- and other allowances as admissible.
- Assistant Professor -Pay Matrix Level: Academic Level 10 of Pay Matrix Rs.57,700-1,82,400/- and other allowances as admissible.
