The University of North Bengal was established by an Act of the Legislature of West Bengal in 1962 with the mission “to encourage and provide for instruction for teaching, training and research in various branches of learning and course of study; to promote advancement and dissemination of knowledge and learning and to extend higher education to meet the growing needs of society.” The University of North Bengal campus covers an area of nearly 315.99 acres of land at the foothills of high Himalaya in close proximity of vast plains around it with a fascinating glimpse of the Kanchenjunga peak, tea gardens and forest cover.
💼 DESIGNATION / JOB POSITION
- Technical Assistant Grade II (University Health Centre)
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Essential Qualification:
i) Passed H.S. (10+2) examination or its equivalent with Physics , Chemistry and Biology.
ii) A two years diploma course in Medical Technology in the concerned subject recognized by the State Medical Faculty of West Bengal under West Bengal Para Medical council or conducted by any recognized Institution affiliated to any recognized University OR a Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology of Subject concerned from any Institution / University recognized by Government of India.
iii) Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in a biochemical / pathological laboratory in a Medical College / Hospital / ICMR / NABL or a recognized institution.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in handling of electro – medical equipments, as the selected candidate will have to handle calorimeter, ECG machine etc.
