🏫 ABOUT INSTITUTION
The Government of West Bengal set up an expert committee on December 31, 1998, under the Chairmanship of Ashesh Prasad Mitra, Eminent Scientist to explore the necessity and scope for establishment of an Engineering / Technology University in the stste of West Bengal. The University came into operation formally with the assumption of the office of the first Vice Chancellor on January 15, 2001 as a sequel to the promulgation of THE WEST BENGAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY ACT, 2001, under West Bengal Act XV of 2000 passed by the West Bengal Legislature. The University started its academic programme, from July 16, 2001 following a Notification from the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal dated June 15, 2001 through the affiliation of Engineering and Management Institutions / Colleges and has entered the eighth year of its functioning. The University is included in Section 2F and also in Section 12B of UGC and recipient of UGC Grant. Applications are invited for engagement of (a) Technical Staff for maintenance of Smart Class Room and (b) Academic Assistant to assist the various departments and academic creation of data management Cell on contractual basis of the University with the following eligibility criteria:

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Technical Staff for maintenance of Smart Class Room Diploma in Electrical Eng / Electronics Eng / Computer Science & Eng / IT from govt recognized institutes
Academic Assistant to assist the various departments and to work in the data management Cell B Tech / BE in Electrical Eng / Electronics Eng / Computer Science & Eng / IT / MBA / PG Degree in Computer Science from a recognized University / Institute.
The prescribed qualifications indicated above for the Serial No: (a) & (b) and experience, if any, are bare minimum and mere possession of the same will not entitle the candidates to be called for interview. The university reserves the right to raise the cut-off level of eligibility criteria than those indicated under Qualification for the respective post. The University will have the right to restrict the candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number on the basis of qualification and/or experience higher than the minimum prescribed for the same
