The engagement includes two categories: (1) Professor of Practice / Associate Professor of Practice / Assistant Professor of Practice, and (2) Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor on Deputation Basis.

🎯 DEPARTMENT / DISCIPLINE / SPECIALIZATION

Applicants may belong to any sector, skill domain, or academic discipline relevant to DSEU’s vocational, technology, entrepreneurship, and professional education programs.

For deputation posts, applicable disciplines shall follow DSEU Regulations-I.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

For Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor of Practice

• Assistant Professor of Practice: Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant skill domain/sector.
• Associate Professor of Practice: Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant skill domain/sector.
• Professor of Practice: Minimum 15 years of experience in relevant skill domain/sector.
• Individuals may include industry experts, high-skilled professionals, or founders/co-founders of startup companies valued at over USD 100 million.
• Must contribute to curriculum development, teaching, mentoring, and skill certification programs.

For Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor (Deputation Basis)

• Currently serving as Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor in Central/State Universities or Institutes of National Importance.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the same post.
• Scientists in equivalent pay levels in Central Government research institutions may also apply.
• Appointment through parent institution with NOC; advance copy may be submitted.
• Deputation initially for 3 years, extendable up to 5 years.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

For Professor of Practice / Associate Professor of Practice / Assistant Professor of Practice

• Monthly remuneration will be fixed at the entry level of the pay matrix corresponding to the equivalent faculty position.
• Annual increments and allowances will apply as per Board approvals.
• No medical reimbursement applicable.

For Deputation Positions

• Salary as per existing pay matrix level and cell held in the parent institution.
• No additional increments or deputation allowances.
