💼 DESIGNATION / JOB POSITION

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

🎯 Project Details

  • Project entitled – ‘Fate and transport of nanoatrazine in soil and its implication on soil-plant interaction: Laboratory and field investigations’
  • Sponsoring agency – Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) 
  •  Appointment period -a) 3 months, extendable to 3 years (renewal will be done every three months, subject to satisfactory performance and continued funding availability) b) There is an option for the selected candidate to enroll for a PhD in the same project, depending on the candidate’s performance and the institute’s norms.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

First class Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech/B.E) in Civil / Water Resources /Chemical/allied areas from a recognized university AND First class Master’s degree (M.Tech/ M.E) in Hydraulics / Water Resources/Hydrology/Hydrogeology/Chemical/Environmental/Earth Sciences/Agriculture/allied areas from a recognized university 

 Desirable qualifications 

  Strong mathematical, analytical, and programming skills  Previous experience in studying flow and transport through porous media

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE

Years 1-2: INR 37,000 per month + HRA 

 Year 3: INR 42,000 per month + HRA

Contact details of two academic/professional referees  Candidates will be shortlisted for an interview based on merit and the need of the project, and will be informed via email.  Shortlisted candidates will be called for an online interview.  The selected candidate is expected to join immediately.
