🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Candidates must possess an M.Tech. or equivalent degree in GIS & Remote Sensing or related disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Agriculture Engineering, or Mining Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or CPI 6.5. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the minimum requirement is 55% marks or CPI 6.0.
Alternatively, candidates with an M.Sc. or equivalent degree in GIS & Remote Sensing, Applied Geology, Geophysics, Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or Mathematics with a minimum of 70% marks or CPI 7.5 are eligible. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the requirement is 65% marks or CPI 7.0.
Additionally, candidates must have been selected through national eligibility tests such as CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, or equivalent national level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies.
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of ₹37,000 per month plus 18% HRA. Additional benefits include the possibility of registering for a Ph.D. program at the institute, subject to meeting eligibility criteria, and access to medical benefits and leave as per project staff rules.
