🎯Project Details

• Project titled – “Documenting and Translating the Cultural Heritage of the Lanjia Saora PVTG: Art, Folktales, and Folksongs from Rayagada District, Odisha” funded by ICSSR under 2nd Special Call for Multi-Disciplinary Studies on the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) in India 2025-26 purely on tenure (temporary) basis at Department of English language and Literature, Central University of Odisha. 

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Qualifications & experience as prescribed by Norms.

For the Research Assistant position, candidates must have a Ph.D./M.Phil./NET/Postgraduate degree in any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and effective communication skills in the Saora language are desirable.

For the Field Investigator position, candidates should be graduates in a Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks. Proficiency in Saora and Odia languages is required, along with a willingness to travel for fieldwork.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

As Per Norms

The Research Assistant will receive a remuneration of Rs 37,000/- per month, while the Field Investigator will receive Rs 20,000/- per month, as per ICSSR guidelines.
