🎯Project Details
- Project entitled – “Rational design of antigram-negative peptides with low hemotoxicity: Machine learning combined with molecular dynamics simulations and in vitro studies” at the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, IIT Guwahati.
🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Essential Qualification: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or allied disciplines. The candidate must have a valid GATE score or CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship/Assistant Professorship).
Core Area Required: Specialization in synthetic chemistry and computational molecular design. Candidates with an Organic Chemistry background will be preferred. Interest in synthetic peptide chemistry and computational design of peptides with applications in the healthcare domain is an advantage.
Desirable Skills: Strong practical hands-on experience in organic synthesis, multi-step reactions, purification techniques (column chromatography), and characterization of organic compounds using NMR, IR, and Mass Spectrometry.
Age Limit: Maximum 28/35 years as per ANRF and GoI norms (relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates).
🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
The total remuneration is ₹44,400 per month, which includes a pay of ₹37,000 and HRA of ₹7,400.
