🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT
Qualifications :
1. A good academic record
2. A Master’s degree with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade on a point scale the grading system is wherever followed) with Ph.D in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited Foreign University.
3. Minimum two publications in the UGC-CARE listed journals
A. Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system js followed) in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an Indian/foreign University.
B. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, or 2016r and their amendments from time to time as the case may be.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹
a. Assistant Professor (Regular Remuneration): Candidates having Ph.D. degree in relevant discipline with minimum first class or at least 60% or equivalent at the preceding degree in relevant discipline from recognised, university with very good academic record throughout shall be considered for the post of Assistant Professor (contractual) and will be paid consolidated remuneration of Rs. 90,000/- per month.
b. Assistant Professor (Lower Remuneration): Candidates having Master degree with minimum first class or at least 55% or equivalent in relevant discipline from recognised university with very good academic record throughout and qualified NET exam in relevant branch shall be considered for the post of Assistant Professor (contractual) and will be paid consolidated remuneration of Rs. 75,000/- per month.

a. The post listed above is temporary positions and on contractual basis for 11 months or till the recruitment for the position is filled against the regular vacancy, or whichever is earlier.
b. One set of self-certified documents (degree /mark sheet experience certificates etc) should be submitted to the recruitment cell-at the time of interview.
c. The original certificates must be shown at the time of the interview.
d. If found ineligible, the university is liable to terminate the contract at any time.
e. Candidates currently employed in Government service must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by their employer.
The interview will be conducted in offline mode only. Online interview requests will not be entertained.
The decision of the competent authority of NFSU Tripura Campus is final and binding in all cases.
