🎯Project Details

• Project entitled – “Development of an Indigenous Engineered Escherichia coli Chassis for High-Yield Production of Electrically Conductive Protein Nanowires for Bioelectronics and Energy Applications” (Sanction Order No. ANRF/ECRG/2025/004680/LS)
•  Funded by – Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) 
• Duration: Initially for one year, extendable on a yearly basis up to the completion of the project (maximum three years) based on satisfactory performance and the availability of funds as per ANRF norms. 

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

Applicants must possess a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field, or an M.Tech. degree in Biotechnology or a related discipline, with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale or 60% marks. Candidates must have qualified CSIR-JRF or any other National Eligibility Test recognized by ANRF. Experience in molecular biology, microbial genetics, recombinant DNA technology, and related areas is preferred.

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

The selected candidate will receive a fellowship as per the prevailing ANRF norms, i.e., ₹37,000/- per month + HRA for the first and second year. Based on satisfactory performance, the candidate may be upgraded to Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the third year with a fellowship of ₹42,000/- per month + HRA, as per ANRF norms.
