National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) is located about 22 kilometers north-east of Calicut City. National Institute of Technology Calicut is a Technical Institution of national importance set up by an Act of parliament(Act 29 of 2007) namely, the National Institute of technology Act 2007, which received the assent of the President of India on 5th June,2007. The provision of the Act have come into force with effect from 15th August,2007 as per Notification S.O.1384(E) dated 9th August, 2007 of the MHRD(Dept. of Higher Education),New Delhi. As per the provision of the said Act, this Institution runs on non profitable basis.

National Institute of Technology Calicut Call for the Positions of Technical Assistant (Networking and Hardware Maintenance) & (Networking and Website Maintenance) in NITC

The Institute proposes to select suitable personnel to engage them on ad hoc basis in the following positions purely on temporary basis (11 months) based on the immediate requirement of personnel for maintenance of campus network center of the Institute on a monthly remuneration of and ensure the smooth functioning of network and other online activities of the Institute. The selection process/engagement would be in line with prevailing Covid-19 protocol. The remuneration would be monthly consolidated pay of ₹15,125/-. The age limit would be 33 for the posts as on 01.01.2022.

🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

B. Tech or B E in Computer Science and Engineering / Electronics engineering or 3 Year Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering/ Hardware Engineering/Electronics Engineering or BCA/ B. Sc (Computer Science/ IT) Experience: Minimum five years’ experience in a. Installation, management & maintenance of desktop & server Operating systems in Windows and Linux b. Networking

Networking and Hardware Maintenance
Troubleshooting and maintenance of Laptop/Desktop computers. Installation maintenance and management of IP phones and IP phone servers.

For Networking and Website Maintenance
Web development tools like, WordPress, PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, Linux

Desirable Qualification: CCNA/CCNP

🏆 SALARY / REMUNERATION / PAY SCALE ₹

• The remuneration would be monthly consolidated pay of ₹15,125/-
